“After being shot twice in my dominant arm as a police officer, I was left with permanent radial nerve damage and a long road of uncertainty. I went through four surgeries with other providers, always hoping for a breakthrough, but instead I kept hitting the same wall – weakness, pain, and the fear that I would never truly get my hand back. “On December 5th, 2022, I began to feel some pain in my right forearm. By December 9th, with a 4 day fever and my arm being swelled up twice the size it normally is from my hand to my underarm, and in incredible pain, I went to a local hospital ER. With God’s blessing, Dr. Kadzielski was on duty. He diagnosed me almost immediately with Necrotizing Fasciitis. I spent ten days in the hospital with three surgeries to clean the arm of the deadly infection, and a fourth surgery in which Dr. Kadzielski performed a skin graph from both legs to close up the large wound. Dr. Kadzielski not only saved my arm, and 95% of the muscles in it, he saved my life! I’ve been working at my company, ‘Khoury Brothers Stump Grinding, LLC’ since my recovery in May of 2023. I’m also blessed to be able to coach my son in baseball and football. I can’t thank Dr. Kadzielski enough.
