Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Both owners are licensed Master Plumbers, and we’re fully insured. Massachusetts holds plumbers to one of the highest standards in the country, and you have every right to verify who’s working in your home.
Do you work on residential and commercial properties?
We focus primarily on residential single-family homes, and we do serve some commercial customers as well. Reach out and we’ll let you know how we can help.
Do you offer upfront pricing?
Always. We assess the situation, give you multiple options for repair or replacement, and provide honest, upfront pricing before any work begins, no surprises.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, 5% for seniors, active and veteran military, and friends & family, plus up to 10% for Value Plan members
Do you offer same-day or emergency service?
We offer flexible scheduling and can often accommodate same-day service, just ask. No-heat and no-hot-water calls get priority.

What brands do you install?
We install best-in-class, name-brand equipment from manufacturers who stand behind their products, such as Rinnai, Bosch, and Triangle Tube, rather than whatever’s cheapest at the wholesaler.
Can you help me get MassSave rebates or a Heat Loan?
Yes. We focus on high-efficiency upgrades and can point you toward MassSave rebates and 0% Heat Loan financing you may qualify for.
Heating FAQs
Why do I have no heat?
No-heat calls usually trace back to a system leak, a failed circulator pump, or a control failure. We diagnose the exact cause quickly and walk you through your options, most of these components are replaced rather than repaired.
Can you repair or replace my baseboard or radiators?
Yes. We install, replace, and service cast iron radiators, hot water and copper fin-tube baseboard, radiant panels, and more.
Is radiant heat really worth it?
For the right home, absolutely. Radiant heat can lower heating fuel costs by an estimated 20-30% because it runs at much lower water temperatures than baseboard. We’ll tell you honestly whether it fits your project.
How often should I service my heating system?
Once a year is the sweet spot. Annual maintenance keeps your system safe and efficient and helps you avoid a no-heat emergency in the dead of winter.
Boiler FAQs
Should I repair or replace my boiler?
It depends on the age, condition, and efficiency of your current unit. We’ll assess it, explain the trade-offs in plain language, and give you options with upfront pricing, including whether a rebate-eligible upgrade pays off.
What is a combi boiler?
A combination (“combi”) boiler provides both your home heating and your hot water from a single compact, high-efficiency unit, saving space and often energy.
Are high-efficiency boilers worth the investment?
For many homes, yes. High-efficiency modulating condensing boilers can run as low as 20% output to match demand, cutting fuel use, and models over 90% AFUE may qualify for MassSave rebates and 0% Heat Loans.
Do you still service cast iron boilers?
Absolutely. We repair and maintain existing cast iron boilers and can talk you through an upgrade whenever you’re ready.
Water Heater FAQs
Tank or tankless, which is right for me?
Tank units cost less upfront and suit many homes; tankless units cost more initially but deliver endless hot water, take up less space, and use less energy. We’ll help you weigh both against your household’s needs and budget.
How long does a water heater last?
A traditional tank water heater typically lasts about 8-12 years, while a well-maintained tankless unit can last 15-20 years or more. Age is one of the biggest signs it’s time to start planning a replacement.
What are the signs I need a new water heater?
Watch for inconsistent or running-out hot water, rusty or discolored water, leaks or moisture around the unit, strange noises, and simply age. If you’re seeing these, let us take a look.
What is a heat pump water heater?
A heat pump (hybrid) water heater is a high-efficiency tank unit that moves heat instead of generating it directly, using far less energy, and it often qualifies for MassSave rebates.
Does a tankless water heater need maintenance?
Yes, an annual flush keeps a tankless unit running efficiently and protects your warranty, especially in areas with harder water.
HVAC & Ductless FAQs
What is a ductless mini split?
It’s a heat pump system with an outdoor unit and one or more indoor “heads” that heat and cool individual rooms or zones, no ductwork required, and precise room-by-room control.
Can a heat pump really heat my home through a New England winter?
Yes. Today’s cold-climate heat pumps are designed to deliver efficient heating in our winters. We’ll size and select a system built for North Shore conditions.
Are there rebates for installing a heat pump?
Often, yes. Ductless heat pump systems can qualify for substantial MassSave rebates and 0% Heat Loan financing. We’ll help you navigate what’s available.
How many indoor heads do I need?
It depends on your home’s layout and which spaces you want to condition. We’ll assess your home and design a single- or multi-zone system that fits.

Do you handle kitchen and bathroom remodels?
Yes, remodels are one of our specialties. We manage the full plumbing scope from rough-in to finished fixtures.
Can you find a hidden leak?
We do. Our team handles water and sewer leak detection and repair, tracking down the source and fixing it right.
Can you replace old cast iron or copper drains?
Absolutely. Replacing aging cast iron and copper stacks and drains with modern plumbing is routine work for us.
Do you install water filtration systems?
Yes. We install and service whole-house water filtration and treatment systems for cleaner, better-tasting water.
Do you do gas fitting?
We do, both natural gas and propane systems, always to code and by licensed professionals.
